Sis' old school laundry. The dryer is out, don't have change handy for complex laundromat and didn't take repair classes. Wondering where I can hang wet bedding to dry?
My mom (Sis) and I (Lisa) have challenged ourselves to each take a picture a day in 2010 starting January 4th. We will write journal style what inspires us to take the shots we do each day; along with anything else on our minds throughout the year. We are recently relocated from Northern California to the Atlanta, GA area. We hope you find our project interesting and maybe a bit entertaining. ;>

Day 112 - Lisa
People roll their eyes at our collection of jars BUT everyone goes home with salsa, minestrone soup, etc. Course this is also how accidents happen due to the "blending" of flavors captured in the jars ala Chilistrone.
Day 112 - Sis
First ant I've seen in the apartment last week. No problem the complex is being service by the pest exterminator tomorrow. This will probably cause a surge of insects on the run, yuck!

Day 111 - Sis
After being stuck in the apartment all weekend due to severe weather, I would have loved to have been back here.

Day 110 - Lisa
Remember my old tree during the winter (see below)? I decided to capture a picture of her in each season. Might make for a nice set of wall pictures. Well, here she is now all dressed up for Spring. ;> I had to capture her from the opposite side as there was a big puddle from where I shot last time.

Day 109 -Sis
My grand niece sent Lisa and I this fantastic drawing of a cheetah! She must of heard I am a Big Cat Diary fan, shown on the Animal Planet channel. Hoping I can spot this particular variety of cheetah on the show, cause it's a beauty.

Day 107 - Sis
I have found when you're in a hurry and shove things into the fridge without looking and hear something that sounds like a jar fell over, it's best to check it. Also found that when you leave for an hour after hearing and ignoring the sound you have a very large pool of marinade to clean up
Day 107 - Lisa
Prepping "Jodi" Lemon Chicken.
Whatever kind of chicken pieces you like.
Whatever kind of chicken pieces you like.
4 to 6 Lemons - juiced into ziplock bag
Some Thyme
Some Rosemary
Some Salt & Pepper
Couple Shallots
Dash of White Wine
Dash of EVOO
Couple Garlic Cloves
Put the chicken, herbs, salt & pepper, sliced shallots, wine, evoo and chopped garlic into a ziplock bag. Add the juice and slices of lemon. Marinate between 24 & 48 hours - the longer the better. Day that you cook cut up some red potatoes, carrots and any root vegetable you like put in a shallow roasting pan, put the chicken on top of the vegetables, put the herbs and lemons on top of the chicken. Cover the roasting pan with aluminum foil and cook at 350 degrees for an hour or so.
Delicious! A awesome "Spring" dish to devour. Thank you my friend. Think of you every time I make it. ;>

Day 106 - Sis
I remember when I wouldn't go anywhere without matching lipstick and nail polish. Hah, what a difference a few decades make!

Day 105 - Sis
It's a sunii picture day because we are both under the weather and only wish we felt as good as her.

Day 104 - Lisa
Gee my mom bought me a new toy today. Too bad the instructions only tell you how to get the light bulb in but not how to get the handle off. Not sure it's going to be comfortable sitting at the dinner table with a pole banging around our heads. ;>

Day 103 - Lisa
I'm not really a fan but every once in the while I get a hankering. Like tonight. I caught the allergy/sinus gunk on Friday and not feeling too hot today, so I had craving for some coffee and sugar. This will hit the spot.

Day 99 - Sis
Went grocery shopping yesterday and bought this loaf of bread. Do you think I should have gotten it for half price?!!!!!!

Day 98- Sis
Body here but mind still in D.C. Remembering at Arlington standing near Ted Kennedy's grave and overheard a woman ( close to my age ) ahead of me tell her young companion, " Oh I'm not sure think it might be a Kennedy". Wow, compared to me, someone with less brain cells?!!!!!!!

Day 97 - Sis
My squirrel relationship (panhandling) lasted moments, he was gone like a flash when he spotted another woman reaching into her purse. He/she knew how to work a crowd!
Day 97 - Lisa
We are still recouping from DC so this is from Friday. My mom was panhandled by a DC squirrel. It was hysterical. He all but pulled on her pant leg!

Day 95 - Lisa
Felt like Rapunzel today in the Old Post Office Tower but I think the story would not have worked quite the same if it had been me, "Lispunzel, Lispunzel throw down your frizzy wild gray brown hair."
