Yesterday I waited for snow promised by all tv weather people by 11 a.m., ah make that noon, well by 3 maybe 4. So here I sat like Charlie Brown waiting for the Great Pumpkin and nada. My daughter comes home at 3:30 telling me about the snow that was falling a few miles away, urgggh. Had to start dinner and it was dark already, grumble. Plans to watch beautiful snowflakes thwarted. Closed the blinds and put in the Star Trek movie complaining under my breath at the loss of watching the first snowfall in Georgia. Movie over, looked out and saw a whitish glow over a section in front of our apartment. Sure, sure, couldn't be in daylight. Grabbed my camera, battery dead! Tried the cell phone camera, result of picture taking, a black screen. At 8 a.m. this morning with temperature at 14 which kept this huge snowdrift intact I got the picture.
