Rented four movies and this was the last before returning all by tomorrow. Tough to watch.
My mom (Sis) and I (Lisa) have challenged ourselves to each take a picture a day in 2010 starting January 4th. We will write journal style what inspires us to take the shots we do each day; along with anything else on our minds throughout the year. We are recently relocated from Northern California to the Atlanta, GA area. We hope you find our project interesting and maybe a bit entertaining. ;>

Day 176 - Sis
With the past two weeks of weather in the 90's and the afternoon thunderstorms, can't decide if this grass is browning or greening.

Day 175 - Sis
Lisa set up a sound system in our apartment last night. Okay not big, but as the saying goes, music to my ears!

Day 174 - Sis
Summer tv, you either catch up on programs you missed, watch food shows or repeats that you know too much dialogue from.

Day 173 - Sis
Never thought this day would come. My daughter cleaned out her closet and this jacket went into the garbage bag. This chartreuse colored jacket was her signature outer wear for many years, how will we find her in a crowd now?

Day 172 - Sis
I want to be on Billy Nungesser's team along with Anderson Cooper. Two people who's heart and sense of right, fight for the people, wildlife, way of life and environment. Bravo!
Day 172 - Lisa
Props to our property management as kids headed to school on foot and cars went through the gate this morning they greeted us with a breakfast bag. I already ate my banana. That was a nice Friday surprise!

Day 171 - Sis
Saving these after throwing the dead bouquet away and cleaning the vase they were in. Never know, might need these extras in case I have to replace a few when my head starts feeling empty!

Day 170 - Lisa
On a cynical day I think there's no one left who believes in these sayings, most other days I read them and it helps me stay focused. Courage & Integrity (L to R).

Day 169 - Sis
I share my dry bread crumbs with the local birds outside our window. Tossing them in and around the shrubs for their convenience and sunii's viewing. The shrubs are lately overgrown and apparently the spiders are weaving webs because when I threw the bread crumbs, some of them were captured in the webs making the bushes look like cotton plants.

Day 168 - Sis
The blueberries we bought at the Farmer's Market were purchased to try the pork chop recipe. Fortunately I found another dessert recipe for these little cakes to use the remaining berries. Have to say the recipe was a winner!
Day 168 - Lisa
New recipe tonight. Pork Chops with Blueberry sauce. Delicious!! Mama said the blueberry sauce had everything but the kitchen sink in it. All I know is it was GOOD!

Day 167 - Sis
Two items checked off the list of things to do, obtain an official library card and register to vote. Might start to actually feel like a citizen with privileges again!

Day 166 - Lisa
It was a tough choice today; lime green & black Monte Carlo or an iPhone. You guess which one I purchased.
Day 166 - Sis
AT&T store I was trapped in for about 3 hours while my daughter upgraded her recently damaged, (today), Blackberry. She is now has an iPhone. Since I as there anyway decided to upgrade my phone. It also gave me a look into my future as a nursing home resident. While I sat and listen to my daughter and AT&T member discuss what "she" needed and what "her"capabilities were. Go ahead talk as if I wasn't there. Like a good senior I wandered outside to take pictures.

Day 165 - Sis
Picked up a few other items while at Farmer's Market. Fresh corn, tomatoes, eggplant, rosemary/garlic flavored linguine, salsa, artichoke dip, fresh blueberries, small coconut/ pineapple/ rum cake, sweet potato and bread pudding tart, large peanut butter cookie and snoodle (sp.?) cookie!

Day 163 - Sis
Anderson Cooper does his CNN reports from this area, the river walk, during the week. Lisa was hoping to see him while we were in New Orleans, but we were busy on the Friday night we arrived there. ;-0

Day 162 - Sis
Wonder how many citizens of Louisiana who remember him, wish old Huey Long was alive today to take care of BP and clean up this mess by now.

Day 161 - Lisa
I HATE mushrooms. So much so I showed my mom who also hates them how to get around them when eating soup. ;> Scoot them to the side wall and line them up till you are done.

Day 157 - Lisa
Lugging all the gear on trips is for the birds, so I went mini! Netbook, sleeve and umbrella; all fit in my purse.
Day 157 - Sis
Since I needed to iron some things for the trip thought I'd get a good tempo going with my music. Slowed me down real fast when I realized ipod battery was dead. Geez.
