I have this icon at the bottom of my work emails under my name and contact info with the tag line; "Please consider the environment before printing this email." It's pretty common thing to see now a days. I had an outside vendor tell me they really hate when people shove their political viewpoints down their throats via email, especially work email. LOL Alrighty! Have a nice day to you too. Maybe you should recycle your ATTITUDE!
My mom (Sis) and I (Lisa) have challenged ourselves to each take a picture a day in 2010 starting January 4th. We will write journal style what inspires us to take the shots we do each day; along with anything else on our minds throughout the year. We are recently relocated from Northern California to the Atlanta, GA area. We hope you find our project interesting and maybe a bit entertaining. ;>

Day 196 - Sis
Made me want to start singing, "See'll be comin' round the mountain when she comes" but sure my daughter would have stopped me!

Day 192 - Sis
I remember as a child these were a penny a piece and now they are 15 cents each. They bring back a memory of a lady in my childhood neighborhood. Mrs.Reese and her mother, who we called Grandma, had turned her garage into a little store where she sold candy and few other items. We would search and find empty soda bottles to cash in at the larger stores. Sometimes we each got a nickel and we would hurry to splurge it on our visit to her place. As soon as you walked in you were standing in front of a glass case filled with a variety of candies, some were even two for a penny. It was a glorious sight for us kids and time consuming for her as we made our choices. Wonderful times.

Day 191 - Sis
This is my ticket to vote in my first Georgia election. A privilege to all registered voters in this country. Whohoo give me my ballot!

Day 190 - Sis
When I was a kid there was an old scale like this one in a drugstore where I could hop up on it, put in a penny and get my weight. Today even if I could hop up on it, the cost would be much more than a penny for the damages I would cause!
Day 190 - Lisa
A cool store recently flooded us with memories of our simple toys growing up. And that reminded me of "Klackers" and the Tops that had a urethane wheel as the tip, you'd rub it on the ground, getting it going and then put it on it's tip. The top would take off, skipping on the ground. These were fun but soon would get kind of boring. THAT was until we discovered these were lethal weapons if we stuck them in each others hair, especially who ever we were mad at. The top would grab hold of the hair and wind it up in a tangled ball. I'm pretty sure that was the summer most of us girl cousins ended up with pixie hair cuts and black eyes. LOL! We also beat each others brains out with the Klackers.

Day 189 - Sis
Recently my daughter discarded a jacket she wore forever and now it's my turn. I have loved these pjs, originally green in color, for years because the print was all dogs. The material became threadbare and I would wear them in summer but they have gone beyond threadbare to skin baring! A sad goodbye.

Day 187 - Lisa
This old historic house is for sale in a neighboring town. I'd love an old place like this but my pocketbook doesn't.
Day 187 - Sis
Another wonder while in North Carolina. We pull into a four pump gas station where it's very busy and all pumps are being used; I'm sitting in the vehicle people watching. Out of the store comes a cashier who sits down and lights a cigarette no more than five feet away from where I'm at and I began to hear the time bomb ticking. Gulp, wonder how long he'll be working there?

Day 186 - Sis
Along side the roads in North Georgia and North Carolina these berries are growing wild. Remember when you could just stop to pick and eat fruit without worry of poisoning?

Trimming of overgrown shrubs, finally. Wide open view for sunii available again with birds, bugs and humans within her scope.
Day 185 - Lisa

You just want lunch and it's one of those restaurants you find in a town that your average wage earner doesn't live. ;-\

Day 181 - Lisa
No big plans today, usually just stay home on 3 day weekends. We'll eat our traditional 4th of July menu; chilaquiles, ham and potato salad. Happy 6th Month Anniversary mom! It's been fun, adventurous, frustrating at times, and down right hilarious doing the blog with you. Now on to the last 6 months. Peace to everyone on this 4th of July.

Day 179 - Lisa
My prima Kellee is going to kill me. She gave this to me for my birthday about three years ago. I carry it around faithfully in my wallet. I never seem to remember to spend it. Maybe this year Kell. LOL PS: I dig the reflection of my hands in the background.

Day 178 - Sis
Like George Clooney's "Up In the Air" role we too aspire to collect 7 million reward points, which will probably entitle us to a 12 pack of Coke.
Day 178 - Lisa
This book is SO wrong and SO right all at the same time. I laughed so hard in portions of it. Being we are close in age his tales of growing up with his brother and cousins reminded me such much of my childhood and our mischief and adventures. There's a lot I don't agree with but the funny if funny. My mom, sister and I love Denis Leary; he doesn't disappoint with this book. It came out a few years ago but I just got around to reading it. By the way if you've never seen the movie The Ref; rent it!
