Nagano, Japanese Steak House and Sushi Bar! A surprise find for us.
My mom (Sis) and I (Lisa) have challenged ourselves to each take a picture a day in 2010 starting January 4th. We will write journal style what inspires us to take the shots we do each day; along with anything else on our minds throughout the year. We are recently relocated from Northern California to the Atlanta, GA area. We hope you find our project interesting and maybe a bit entertaining. ;>

Day 45 - Sis
If you didn't have the money to park; how you going to pay the ticket? Must be for serial offenders.
Day 45 - Lisa
Tacos are such a pain in the hukkas to prepare; chopping, slicing, mixing, frying BUT so good. Thanks mama!

Day 43 - Sis
Looks as if many people have this holiday off but no one is outside despite the bright, sunny day. Guess air is a little too nippy for some.

Day 42 - Lisa
It's a long story that involves:
1. A mother & daughter.
2. The snow.
3. Blocked sunshine & a sun roof.
4. A brilliant idea gone bad.
5. Laughter till crying.

Day 41 - Lisa
After yesterday's heavy snow the sun came out today and melted it all away. Caught this picture in the park where we walk.

Day 39 - Lisa
Bio & Ty; my best friends this week. Oy! And those hard little decorative pillows have been a lifesaver.
Day 39-Sis
This sign makes you aware that you are in Between city limits. Yep, that's the name of the town, and it is between Loganville and Athens, Georgia, in Walton County. I looked up a few facts about Between; census in 2000 population was 148, it was incorporated August 17th, 1908. Also known for tornado activity with 85% more likely to be hit by a tornado than any other area in the USA. Now that may account for the small population! Oh and btw we were traveling "between" 60 and 70 mph which explains why the photographer got this blurrrrred shot.

If President Obama can eat it I guess I can too. My first Five Guys Burger in Athens, GA. I give it 4 stars out of 5. I still rank my burgers:
1. Hambrick's 1/4 lb
2. Val's
3. Nations
4. Five Guys
5. In n Out

Day 32 - Sis
Highway 78, one of the major thoroughfares here. View in background is looking toward Stone Mountain a notable site in Georgia. Highway is quite winding as are most that I've experienced here.

Day 31 - Sis
My daughter Yolanda sent Lisa and me this California care package. I'm not sure how much she cares sending two overweight women 12 pink snowball cupcakes and 2 lbs of See's candy. LOL Would give to kids here but don't want to be questioned about our motives! No matter, have to thank my girl for her good intentions.

Day 30 - Sis
First colonoscopy done and found that it was fast, not even close to being so uncomfortable physically and even less uncomfortable personally. Everyone made the environment nice and stress free. The preparation the day before was not enjoyable, drinking that much yucky tasting fluid just about did me in. Oh results were good.
Day 30 - Lisa
I know it's only January but I'm ready for more color than just brown and green. It's been looking so dreary outside. That's why I loved this little treasure I found, I like the contrast of the bare tree and varying reds on the foliage.

Day 29 - Sis
My meal plan for the day. A 4 liter Kaiser cocktail, ( non alcoholic ), lemon-lime jello, popsicle, coffee, water, chicken bullion. This is a very condensed fast, thank God!
Day 29 - Lisa
Water shooting up from the Olympic Rings Fountain yesterday. It looks a bit like a tame Jackson Pollock piece of work.
Day 28 - Lisa
As my mom said we spent the day at Centennial Olympic Park in Atlanta, home of the 1996 Summer Olympics. It was a beautiful winter day. Bright blues skies, crisp air and gorgeous views. This is my favorite piece of art in the whole park.
